Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury golf course should be allocated for housing development. This site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the QB4/H.
The town centre High Street, tesco Store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than 10 minutes walk away at approximately 600m to the north. A local parade of shops in also within 250m to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 minutes walk at 1 2km away. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre. The M62 corridor is also minutes away for easy commute
