I object based on the grounds of additional traffic congestion, access and reduced air quality.

Traffic between the bypass roundabout and Cottingley primary school is always congested and/or backed up on Bradford road/ Cottingley Cliffe Rd and Cottingley New Rd. When walking on nearby roads you can actually taste the car fumes in the air some days.

If I drive the congestion is already significant in the morning and evenings. On economic grounds the congestion makes travel to the better paying jobs in Leeds more difficult, especially managing around school times, even with before and after school care provision. Also would the houses actually be affordable and of a reasonable size for the average earner?
