Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021
Representation ID: 4836
Received: 24/03/2021
Respondent: Mr David Mann
Representation Summary:
The proposed housing development on West Lane, Baildon , would occupy the last remaining green belt from Baildon centre to Glen Road. Building 76 houses would, at least, generate another 150 cars. At the moment approximately 386 cars per hour travel down West Lane. The school run at Sandal Primary School already causes severe disruption. The land opposite Westleigh Road is a well used route for deer coming up from Walker Wood. Nesting Curlews would be compromised. This proposed development would severely impact on the integrity of Baildon Moor.
