Shipley is a very busy town with excellent transport links and is a popular residential area. There is a high volume of traffic throughout most of the day on the main roads and increasingly on minor roads despite traffic calming measures.The present Shipley residents NEED, USE and VALUE their green spaces. These are a lifeline to parents and children and all residents who value areas free of traffic to walk and sit. Building new homes will increase traffic and remove valuable clean air zones.
