Representation Summary:

The re generation of the area is well overdue providing a range of tenures close to the city centre and retail offerings and provides a catalyst for further housing growth, namely re purposing of other buildings not identified in this plan. Infrastructure is in place from previous uses, utilising will maximise use of scarce resources. The high point feature whilst not currently asthetically pleasing, could provide a focus point incorporating enhancements to the broadband and digital connectivity of the area.
However further highways issues need addressing within the LEZ and improvements to connectivity electric or hybrid bus, pedestrian and cycle access to Forster Square station. Alternative fuel technology and localised heat networks might be possible.
