This greenbelt site should not be built on before all brownfield sites in Bradford are exhausted. This loss of habitat and biodiversity cannot be justified (there are otter, bats and deer in this area). In addition, the area is a long way from, reliable public transport and will inevitably contribute to car use and already high levels of traffic and air pollution will increase. Building so close to the river aire is unsustainable considering how much the river has moved in its flood plain just upstream at Bingley playing fields.
