Updated QB7/H site would result in more volume of traffic moving within the small inadequate roads within the village. A site like Queensbury Golf Club where traffic could be displaced via a major A road to both Halifax and Bradford would be far more suitable.
The High Street, Tesco Store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than a 10 minute walk away at approximately 600m to the north. A local parade of shops is also within 250m to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 minute walk at 1.2km away. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the centre.
Development of the area close to the Golf Club has proved a success for the village, this would see a natural progression.
