No reason to build on precious Green Belt land when so many Brownfield sites are available across Bradford District

Ribbon development / urban sprawl along the A65 - loss of demarcation between Burley-in-Wharfedale and Ilkley especially given the proposed developments in Ilkley and Addingham. Could lead to creation of a Wharfedale corridor

Already overburdened infrastructure (shops, medical, schools) - doubtful it will be able to cope

Secondary schooling already at capacity - there is no provision for any more

Potential adverse impact on road safety and pressure on transport links
