Forty dwellings on this green belt site would have a severely detrimental impact on an attractive & much used local amenity area to which it is adjacent - most notably the meadowland between Ladderbanks & theGill Beck/Spring Wood area. The Council’s declared development policy “to leave biodiversity in a measurably better state than beforehand...” is difficult to reconcile with the plan presented.
