Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 5917

Received: 24/03/2021

Respondent: Mrs Leanne Hollins

Representation Summary:

Ilkley is already a saturated town with regards infrastructure- schools are oversubscribed, roads are too busy, parking is now a total nightmare, the gps are too full to take on any more patients. The town cannot support the residents it has. We need to improve the facilities and amenities to support current residents and absolutely not bring in more and put further strain on the above. This area is horrifically over populated also by tourists with the park, dales way and old bridge Nursey. The road junctions are terrible and the church and the school bring extra adults and children. This is absolutely not a place to increase the population. It will only increase the risk of potential accidents and difficulties for emergency services and refuse services also. This would be a total mistake.
