I am writing to object about the council’s proposal to build in Ilkley and Ben Rhydding on land designated as Green Belt. It has been so designated for a reason: to protect the environment of the town, it’s open aspect, it’s infrastructure and our air quality.

More housing with more car owners will affect the traffic adversely which in turn will be bad for air quality. Our schools and medical services are struggling as it is with out adding substantially to the population in the area.
