There is too much traffic in Oakworth, with school buses, lorries and cars. there is not enough parking spaces at the local shops, schools and doctors so people park on the road side or pavements making it hard for people to cross the road as well as getting out of junctions leading to possible accidents. On Pasture avenue nearly each house hold has 2 or more cars/work vans which at least one of them is parked on the road side making the road narrower to get through. The kids play area is the safest place for the kids to play which will be compromised if the new build goes ahead. When we have winter weather its pretty much a stand still trying to get through Oakworth again due to parked cars on both sides and the heavy traffic trying to get through.
