Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 656

Received: 02/03/2021

Respondent: Miss Sally Norris

Representation Summary:

Huge impact on the landscape, more traffic to already busy roads, increase of CO2 emissions, more crowding in local shops- they will not be able to support. Not to mention the doctor’s surgery.
150 houses will completely destroy the open landscape. The Bronte way runs along the site and is a key public footpath, tourist asset and has high cultural significance. Impact on Thornton's heritage and the recent Bronte Stones project.
Impact on Biodiversity: degradation of soil, the basic ecosystem foundation, destruction of animals’ habitants.
Destructive, noise pollution, will look horrible, .... hard to see why anyone wouldn’t object.
