Respondent: Andrew Birkinshaw

Representation Summary:

Branksome Drive has been flooded twice in 2000 and 2015.
The Impact on building 140 houses on this site would have a further catastrophic impact on the area and hugely increase the danger of further flooding which we have to constantly worry about every time it rains.
In 2015 there was already flooding in some houses on Branksome Grove due to the run off from the fields.
There is also huge problems with drainage in lower Branksome Drive, where the sewage gets pumped under the river to Dowley Gap Sewage works, which in flooded times, cannot cope and we get sewage spilling out into the road and our gardens.
This is a Greenfield site and there are Deer dwelling in this are as well as Bats, who roost in the trees and use the fields to feed.
I Strongly oppose this plan.
