Access for pedestrians onto Ben Rhydding Drive to walk to BR rail station would be dangerous as the Drive does not have pavements, is not very wide and people speed up and down the hill, increasingly in large delivery vans.

Wheatley Grove is not suitable for increased traffic either and the junction at the bottom near the Wheatley Arms is dangerous and increased usage would guarantee an accident. Cars come flying down the hill from Ben Rhydding Road and when exiting the Grove the angle makes it very difficult to see them.
