I refer to the draft Local Plan and specifically to the proposal to allocate greenbelt land off Meadowside in Baildon for future residential development.

Whilst I would not wish to see development of well used greenbelt land I am in addition extremely concerned about the extra traffic this would bring to Langley Lane. This, and surrounding areas are already severely congested by school traffic to Baildon CofE Primary school.

As the proposed development site is beyond the school entrance on Langley Lane the additional traffic would only add to an already congested and at times dangerous situation.

I therefore wish to register an objection to this proposal on environmental and health and safety grounds.
