Representation Summary:

The level of traffic on Providence Lane is already impacting Asthma sufferers. Any extra housing here will only worsen this pollution.
Oakworth is a mishmash of overdevelopment which has been allowed to happen for too long. It’s difficult to pick out the original village in amongst the 60’s 70’s 80’s etc... which have little respect for the original architecture. This needs to stop.
This is a green belt area for a reason, we regularly see deer and owls in this area which forms part of an essential green corridor. It will cease to be a corridor if it is squeezed anymore.
The schools in Oakworth and Haworth are already oversubscribed! Waiting lists for allotments a vast. People are desperate to connect with nature, now more than ever. We don’t need more housing here, we need our green space protecting and the integrity of the village saving
