Development would create a number of negative impacts:
Trains are over overcrowded- travel to work place often involves private car travel
Road congestion on A65- further cars will exacerbate problem
The development of the site will increase parking problems for visitors (and probably local residents as well) to the Old Bridge and Riverside Gardens area, particularly in the summer.
Overloaded sewerage system which discharges into River
Ilkleys infrastructure is stretched - schools, medical services, parking (in town)
Derelict sites available in Bradford which could be used
