Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 7365

Respondent: Anna Khan

Representation Summary:

The area is an outstanding area of natural beauty, which supports a wealth of wildlife such as deer, owls, bats, birds, hare and unspoilt fauna.
It is a sanctuary where many people go to walk, relax, run, ride and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
The infrastructure on Langley lane will not support another 40 houses being built, road congestion especially at school times is horrendous and a child has been knocked down because of this. The school bus struggles to manoeuvre through parked cars which line both sides of the road as do emergency vehicles.
Cars also park on the side roads/pavements and across junctions in addition to blocking residents’ driveways which is both frustrating and dangerous.
find alternative brown sites which would not permanently decimate an area of natural beauty and cause untold chaos in an already dangerously congested area.
