The part of the Bronte Way that the development will affect is in my opinion the most beautiful section in the Thornton/Clayton area. The views and rural setting of this part of the Bronte Way would be completely destroyed if the development was allowed and for me personally it would also spoil the peaceful setting of the cemetery as it would then become hemmed in by the busy main rd and a large amount of houses. Once this development begins I would fear more developments would be given the go ahead and the whole of Thornton would become just part of the urban sprawl of Bradford and lose for ever it's historical and "village identity" and the potential for it to be more of a tourist destination would be lost forever.
