Respondent: Mr Ian Sutcliffe

Representation Summary:

Access via Cryer Meadow and Midgley Drive will significantly increase pollution and traffic with new houses tripling the size of the existing development with an average of 2 cars per house there will be nearly 120 additional cars.

Local schools and amenities are already stretched in the area and with the developments at Ebor Lane, Mill Hey and the recent development up the valley, you are proposing another 250 families (750 people with an average of 3 per household) move into the village.

This development will also connect housing in Crossroads to Haworth leaving no green space in between. Also, the land to the rear of
my property floods with heavy rain and a high water table and replacing the natural topography with built up land WILL impact my property.
