MMoss Carr Road cannot and should not support 142 new houses.
Access
Moss Carr Road is incredibly busy with parked cars and effectively one-way where single cars can pass at any one time. Additional houses (sites KY18/H & KY19/H) will create unacceptable congestion. Queried where people will park and whether the road can handle additional vehicles.
Park Lane Bridge - Has huge amounts of traffic. Requirement years ago that development in Long Lee had to tackle the problem, but nothing done.
Amenities - No capacity to support hundreds of new homes.
Green Belt - site is Green Belt and should be protected, not destroyed. It is a natural habitat for birds (ducks, migrating geese, herons, stalks)
Re-think plan to preserve the Long Lee/Moss Carr Road community, preserve the habitat of many wild animals, and to refrain from turning it into a busy, congested suburb.
