Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation Summary:

With regards to your outline to build at the back of Moorlands Avenue - KY12/H I strongly object. This is due to flooding when we have a constant rainfall due to the houses already built using the previous farm dewellings and the camber of the road for their access. Water builds up on their access road which then overflows into the public footpath and then floods through our gardens.

Access to Moorlands Avenue is bad enough for the current residents, there is not enough parking due to cottages on Oakworth Road packing on the Avenue without you creating more houses. There is no access from Moorlands Avenue and I think the council should be making use of derelict buildings and properties before taking away the green fields we currently have left in the area and causing more issues for the residents currently living on Moorlands Avenue.
