Although I believe that the “ Meadowside” development will be allowed, as many of the arguments being put forward by the local residents are invalid, I wondered if a comment from you is appropriate to perhaps reduce the number of houses in the planning proposal in order to protect the remaining lower section of Ladderbanks Lane? Bridleway Baildon 17. The top section has suffered hugely with incursion of extended domestic boundary fences, exclusion of light and ground water, all from the original 1960/70’s building. The bottom section to Tong Park, although poorly fenced is still bounded by very mature trees, original walls and an ope aspect. I feel it should have a protected status an wide margin. This route also, importantly, links two authorities.

There are two other parcels of land which I hope you may have noticed, which could improve the PROW network in the area, with Section 106 money from any development.
Stubbings road, West Lane, ( Footpath Baildon 43 ) runs at the rear. This could become multi user. as it links to Hardaker Lane, Shipley Glen tramway and the Glen and adjoins Walker Wood.

The other parcel does not feature at present but would provide a development site, solve several problems and I know is backed by the present tenant. That is the land over which Footpath Baildon 64 runs from Esholt Lane to Otley Road.
It would site development next to the fuel station. It is unusable by the tenant, due to fly grazing and would make a good Multiuser link, it would also further support the opening of a route from a Buck Lane ( Ancient Highway/ Bridleway( Baildon 85/Bradford North 95) which is a proposed future intention.
