The areas proposed are used by the local community every day of the year and by every age group. It is an area used for dog walking, walking, families play football and cricket here. Children fly kites and in the winter months sledge and make snowmen. It is a place for meeting friends, having a picnic, sunbathing.

It is an open space that has been invaluable during lockdown and the Covid 19 pandemic Allowing adults and children to go outside of their homes to exercise, helping them both physically and mentally after having spent such long periods of time inside..
