Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 1297

Received: 11/03/2021

Respondent: Mr Aidan Mclaughlin

Representation Summary:

Reasons, pristine, well looked after by children and adults, one of the few green grassed areas for children to play for dogs to be walked and for the older generation to look at and use for their daily exercise no fear of getting run over by fast moving vehicles racing up and down Wycliffe Road, I fear that more housing would cause even more traffic and congestion, many times the local bus has to turn off his engine and wait for traffic to clear before they can get down or up the road. Many times in the Telegraph &August i have seen lots of complaints of fly tipping on green spaces in the Bradford District. The people of Shipley and Saltaire look after any little piece of green space they have left ,and the build would be detrimental to the area, i believe these green spaces should be kept for the use of future generations
