More housing on this site would be disastrous. The main Saltaire Road just below is already one of the most congested routes in the country, so a recent article revealed, and doesn't need more adding to it.

Bradford council has in the past mentioned that this is the only green space available to local residents, so this completely contradicts that, and it would be destroying a safe haven for kids to play, for adults to escape the walls of their small dwellings, and a safe cut through, away from the traffic, to reach the nearby schools and colleges.

People in Wycliffe Gardens flats don't have the luxury of private gardens, so they absolutely need public open space like this.

Please reconsider and rethink the strategy for new housing in Shipley, as this is really not the answer. Dont make a big mistake.
