Open green spaces, particularly in areas of housing with no private gardens are vital to the health and mental well-being of everyone. Removing this relatively small space from the people who use it doesn’t make sense. Particularly where there are far more suitable areas in the wider area, notably brown field sites that could easily be adopted for much needed housing that we quite obviously need. This area isn’t suitable. I know the area and the proposed housing will make everyone feel incredibly ‘squashed in’. Plus force those who use to have to venture much further to access suitable areas for their recreation.
