I believe this is a major run off for water into the river aire and if houses were built I think water would sets on the bypass creating greater issues. I also think that the traffic pressure it would put on the surrounding roads would be quite dramatic. I also think that it's one of the few green spaces left surrounding our town. In Covid it's made me realise how important green spaces are for our community's mental health. It would be sad to see such a town put profit before wellbeing.
