We live downstream from the proposed development. Cottingley Beck is adjacent to our rear boundary wall. Recent surges 2020 & 2021 in water volume has eroded the undisclosed footpath and the excess water is now compromising the high stone wall which could endanger life and property. Before we can support the plan we need assurances (Crown Protection) from any liability or structure put in place to protect potential dire outcomes from the wall being compromised / damaged caused or danger due to excess water flow.
