Representation Summary:

My son regularly plays on this greenspace, as do many other local children. It forms an essential part of his outdoor activities. Its location is ideal for accessing quickly, to the extent that if it was not there he would just end up staying inside on occasions where there isn't lots of time to travel to other greenspaces. It is a safe location for young children to play, being surrounded by many young families to look out for them, hence I have never seen any trouble or undesirable elements of society here. Also the fact that traffic is relatively quiet increases safety for small children; this would not necessarily be the case if 44 extra houses were built here. There look to be alternative locations with much larger capacity (and without the steep gradient) for potential housing developments under consideration in the surrounding area, so why not use them instead?
