Representation Summary:

1. The infrastructure in Long Lee and Thwaites brow is not robust enough to support the proposed developments.
2. The drainage and road system is inadequate
3. Local bus services do not currently meet the existing demand.
4. There is one shop, one pub, one School and a Pharmacy that serves the existing community.
5. Long Lee surgery does not provide appointments,
6. The Coney lane Bridge and Viaduct at the bottom of Park lane is already a bottle neck and inadequate for the current traffic.
7. The local un-adopted cobbled road called the Twines is not suitable to use as a link to the A629
8. All the proposed sites in Long Lee, Thwaites Brow and Parkwood fall within 7km of the South Pennine Moors SPA/SAC conservation area.
