Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 1785

Received: 16/03/2021

Respondent: Mrs Chloe Blakeborough

Representation Summary:

Bats live in the derelict barn; all bat species are legally protected and hope the council would not commit a criminal offence by disturbing a bat nest for their own gain. Privacy is a concern; new properties would have direct view of my garden and into my property. This land is currently being rented from the council by local individuals for garages and allotments.. The land is neither vacant or unused, are the council going to meet there obligation to sell the land to the occupiers first? I assume any new houses built would not be in a direct clash with the heritage buildings surrounding. As parking is already as massive issue on Hilltop Rd, we would assume any new properties would be built with more than sufficient parking facilities. Concerns with new properties being built on land with a spring running through it.
