Flooding issues and building houses on this land will only add to the problem.
These fields are vital for a diverse array of wild life including birds such as cranes etc as well as grazing for farm animals. The removal of the long established trees in this area would also increase the risk of flooding whilst reducing the carbon capture of the locality.
