Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021
Representation ID: 2242
Received: 19/03/2021
Respondent: Mr Martin Bashforth
Representation Summary:
Regarding the former allotment gardens in Oxford Road/Park Cliffe Road. These are shown on the map as Open Space. In their current state, they are unworthy of the name. Presumably the land is in Council ownership. Why can it not be developed as a useful open space, e.g. a nature reserve. Does the Council have any plans to restore the land to a useable condition, or is the plan to turn a blind eye to the eyesore for another 15 years? Could this land not be incorporated into an extended Peel Park?
