IL2/H - Skipton Road East:

1. Over-development on greenbelt land Building on this land changes the character of Ilkley, and should be rejected. While there are significant brown field sites available within Bradford District, building on green field sites should be a last option not a first.

2. Development of this site North of the A65, outside of the current footprint of Ilkley will increase both foot traffic and vehicles crossing an already very busy and dangerous road.

3. Building on this site is going to set a president for further development on the Holli hall site and infill along the Skipton road.

I would further note that an increase in over 300 houses in Ilkley will have demands on local infrastructure that it can not support, it will significantly increase the number of children needing schooling in Ilkley, a demand that the local schools are not able to meet.
