This is a site close to my home that will directly impact on some of our views across the valley. However, while I am not enthusiastic, its better to build here than on the other greenbelt sites. Visually, the site is currently kept in an unattractive state by the owner, so houses would be an improvement (though I would prefer a small nature reserve…). For sustainability, this site be quite car dependent but in principle no worse than other housing already present on the other side of the road. Sensitive design required to reduce impact on visual amenity (not 3 story homes!) and TPOs must be respected.
