Concern regarding the status change and varied descriptions given for Idle Moor. 2005 RUDP allocated this area with the same designation as the now 'Green infrastructure corridor' along Wrosecliffe and Westfield Lane. A section of Idle Moor has since succumbed to housing in 2019. The remainder of Idle Moor is no longer designated as part of the 'Green Infrastructure Corridor. Figure 6 in the report allocates Idle Moor as 'Open Land in Settlements'. The Local Area Strategy Plan for Wrose, Idle & Thackley has Idle Moor as 'Open Space - Sport & Recreation'. We are concerned that this change in designation and differing descriptions will allow the current intrusive drilling and surveying on Idle Moor to progress into another housing development off an already busy Green Lane. Loosing another local Green space that is used and appreciated for local wildlife and exercise/time in an Green space by the local residents.
