While I accept that this site has now become an eyesore which does not enhance the approach to the village I believe that 8 houses is far too many for this plot.
Any development needs to be in keeping with the surrounding area and I don't believe this would be the case if 8 houses were allowed.
I suspect they would be 3 storey in order to squeeze so many in and that is not what that area needs.
Any plans should be very carefully considered before allowing this site to be developed and it should provide an inviting and positive impression at the entrance to our historic village.
