I object to Bradford Council building on Green Belt Land. This area next to the A650 and the Bingley Bypass has already a high level of traffic and air pollution. We need to reduce not increase air pollution for the good of our communities.
The Green Belt serves as a buffer between the separate communities of Saltaire, Nab Wood and Cottingley. It is a beautiful habitat for wildlife and a wonderful place to walk near the River Aire and on towards Bingley or Saltaire.
Branksome Drive is a narrow road, not suitable for a higher volume of traffic and is a small community surrounded by countryside - it should be able to retain this identity.
Most importantly, this is a flood zone and not suitable for housing.
All local schools (with the exception of Dixons Cottingley) are over subscribed.
