Representation ID: 2894

Received: 21/03/2021

Respondent: Ms Agnieszka Stachura

Representation Summary:

The proposed site has a limited extent of land at low, medium and high risk of the surface water flooding.
The site situated is near a Grade II Listed Building and proposed development of dwellings could adversely alter sensitive heritage assets of the area.
This site falls within 2.5km of the South Pennine Moors and an assessment must be undertaken to ensure there are no significant effects on these protected sites in terms of impact on supporting habitat.
The site is located in a major part of the Green Belt and would have a negative impact on landscape character and it's openness; with the potential for sprawl.
It is impossible to mitigate negative impact of building proposed dwellings on the ecology and the character of landscape of the area. Worsening of climate collapse may contribute to the increased flooding of the potential new builds as well as the surrounding areas.
