Representation Summary:

The development of this site for residential purposes is not considered to be a suitable, available or deliverable option on the grounds of land ownership, access, housing need, Green Belt considerations, impact on local wildlife and impact on local residential amenity. I strongly object to the proposals for any residential development on the site. There is a restriction on use of the land, there is NO viable access solution and the site meets 3 of the 5 Green Belt criteria with no exceptional circumstances for Green Belt release. The site contains a beautiful Edwardian characterful property with significant local heritage and it is set in a beautiful open setting with many mature trees (subject to TPOs). The loss of this heritage site and associated Green Belt land would be very damaging to the village and adjacent residents both on the Scalebor Estate and on the Highlands development.
