Representation Summary:

The proposed development is on green belt land, The are other brown field sites available such as the greenholme mill area.
The development of Scalebor Park as a former hospital was predicated on an adopted policy relating to major development sites in the Green Belt. The application of this policy resulted in a development which had no greater impact on the Green Belt. It does not, however, allow for expansion beyond the terms of the resultant development.
There is no suitable access . The site is in the vicinity of Ron Lawton Crescent With regards to the potential formation of an access/connection to the site from Ron Lawton Crescent, it is understood that a strip of land, between the site boundary and the adopted highway, comprises an amenity area associated with the Scalebor Park development. This matter is confirmed as per the land title records and highway adoption records.
