I do have reservations about the housing proposals for the area, as 6 of the 8 proposed are on greenfield sites with the remaining 2, 1 is on mixed greenfield / brownfield leaving only a single brownfield site being proposed for re-use. Surely it ought to be possible to re-use more brownfield sites instead of using greenfield? Once greenfield sites are gone, they are gone for good.
I would like to support the proposed keeping of as much green belt and green open space as possible as the current pandemic has shown that we need to protect these spaces for local recreation.
