Firstly destruction of the local biodiversity, loss of meadow and natural flora and wildlife. Loss of agricultural land used for horses, cattle and sheep. My main objection is that there is no guarantee of a zero increase of water into the river Aire and therefore risk of flooding. Already lack of infrastructure for this area to support local population and its needs.No nearby conveniences. No direct transport to local railway stations. More traffic adding to existing traffic queues between Saltaire traffic lights and Cottingley. Branksome Drive and Grove are unsuitable for any increase in traffic flow. This will contradict the intentions to declare this area to become and Clean Air Zone.
