Until recently my family and I lived in a flat nearby. We did not have any outdoor space with our flat and used this green space most days. It was especially important during the pandemic when we couldn't go out. Almost all the houses and flats surrounding the area have no outdoor space or small paved yards so many people use this as their outdoor space as there isn't a park particularly close.
