(Local Plan Team – Comments relate to Support for Idle Moor as greenspace as currently proposed with specific comments below by user)
Too much open/green space has been used for building in Idle, and in Bradford too, already. Idle Moor has been shrunk way too much. The Pandemic has proven the need for recreational open green areas for walking and observing nature. Once this has been taken away and built on it will never come back. There are lots and lots of derelict buildings and brown field sites that are not being used for development. Why? Because the builders don't find them as profitable! If you are building for need and not greed then all the brown field sites should be fully exhausted before any green fields sites are even considered.
The centre of Bradford is a disgrace. Trees growing out of buildings that have been left to decay for years.
