Allocations in Bradford North West and adjacent districts appear to have been made without due regard to the cumulative impacts on carbon emissions, traffic congestion, road safety and transport infrastructure particularly at Sandy Lane village and the Sandy Lane cross roads. The Council will be fully aware of the traffic conditions on the B6146 Cottingley Road. Additional development not only within Allerton but wider area has the potential to result in adverse impacts on Sandy Lane village contrary to the Council's planning policies.
