Representation ID: 3372

Received: 22/03/2021

Respondent: Mr Gary Marples

Representation Summary:

Objections

- Impact to major greenbelt, openness, countryside, loss of trees and natural habitat for deer, bats, owls and other birds and livestock.

- Increased noise and loss of privacy.

- Waterside Fold already impacted greatly by increased flooding and drainage challenges.

- Increased traffic. Swine lane, canal bridge and thoroughfare through Waterside Fold (child risk).

- Impact on existing infrastructure (sewage, transport, station parking, schools, hospitals, emergency services etc.)

- Existing Waterside Fold is classed as East Morton (not Riddlesden) with an East Morton/Bingley school catchment (which is over subscribed). KY15/H Carr Bank is cited as 'Riddlesden'. Object to 'change of boundary' perhaps to favour a under subscribed Keighley school catchment area and its detrimental impact and devaluation of the current East Morton Waterside Fold estate. Residents have made life changing choices, decisions, huge investments and family homes based on its current East Morton / Bingley school catchment.
