This is yet another greenbelt area under threat of development. Although it may not look a particularly attractive area, often such "derelict" areas can be havens for wildlife.

The total number of houses proposed is 314 across all 4 sites. Ilkley has expanded almost beyond recognition in the 30-odd years we have lived here. It is time to call a halt both from the point of view of the increased demand on local services and the need to retain the few open & un-developed areas that remain.
